Ralph Eugene Carter

Van Buren Twp., Michigan

Mr. Carter passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. He was born September 12, 1927 at home in Highland Park, Michigan a son of Milo Kenneth and Alice Mildred ( Yates ) Carter. On August 25, 1969 he was married to Kathleen Gail Coulson in Detroit, Michigan moving to VanBuren Twp. from Livonia in 1976. Mr. Carter was a 25 year member of the Belleville Lions Club. He also worked the elections for many years. Prior to his retirement in 1990 he had been employed by Ludington News as a driver/salesman for 42 years. Mr. Carter is survived by his loving wife of nearly 39 years, Kathleen G. Coulson of Van Buren Twp. Dear father of Stephanie

( Donald ) Curtis of GA, Jeffrey ( Susan ) Carter of AK, Alan Avery of Jackson, Paul Avery of OR and Lisa ( Ronald ) Garland of Ypsilanti. Fond grandfather of 8 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren. Brother of Colleen Smith of Taylor. Preceded in death by one son, Brian Avery. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Bethany Bible Church, 810 E.
