Barbara Bernice Clark

Mrs. Barbara Bernice Clark passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011

at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan.

She was born August 25, 1936, a daughter of

Vernon Edward and Helen ( Lotridge ) Jones.

Before moving to Whittaker 4 months ago,

she resided in Canton for over 20 years.

Mrs. Clark enjoyed cooking, especially baking.

She also was fond of reading and watching television.

Her greatest pride, however, were her grandsons.

Prior to retirement in 1991, Mrs. Clark had been employed by

General Motor Company, Hydromatic,

as an assembly line worker since 1975.

Mrs. Clark was the beloved mother of

Deborah ( Guy Prieur ) Harriman of Lapeer

and Renee Clark of Whittaker.

Dear grandmother of Trevor Hackney and Hunter Hackney.

Sister of Shirley James and Edward Jones.

Preceded in death by 2 sisters and 1 brother.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011

at 1:00 P.M. at the Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home,

209 W. Main, Belleville (734-697-9400).

A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011

from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the memorial service at the funeral home.

The family has suggested memorial contributions to

Renee Clark for the Hackney Grandsons Trust Fund in lieu of flowers.
