Leon Fisher

Mr. Leon Fisher passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011

at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor.

He was born February 17, 1949 in Mobile, Alabama

a son of David Samuel and Annie Louise (Dudley) Fisher.

On June 20, 1981 he was married to Hermione Eva Jones in

Detroit, Michigan, moving to the Belleville area in 2003 from Detroit.

Mr. Fisher was a member of the I.B.E.W.

He enjoyed reading and watching his Lions on television, always hopeful.

He also enjoyed history and was quite the history buff.

He was a quiet man who loved his family.

He was a tinkerer around the house.

Prior to his retirement in December of 2006 he had

been employed by DTE for 34 years.

Mr. Fisher is survived by his loving wife, Hermione E. Fisher.

His fond niece; Carla Crowe. Dear brother of Donald Dudley,

Lurene Emanuel and Delores Fisher.

Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Fisher was preceded in death by his

parents and 5 brothers and sisters.

Memorial services will be held on

Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 11 A.M.

at the Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home,

209 Main St., Belleville (734-697-9400).

The family will receive friends on

Saturday, September 3, 2011 from 10 – 11 A.M.

at the funeral home.
