Mrs. Juanita Scites, 83, of Ypsilanti passed away quietly on March 28, 2009

at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born on January 12, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan.

Mrs. Scites and her husband Donald were the former managers

at Waters Edge Apartments in Belleville.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Donna (David) Barksdale.

Cherished grandmother of Jeff (Andrea), Jodi (Fred) and Brandon

and great grandmother of Carissa, Nicholas, Dakota, Abigail and Haeden.

Also survived by 1 brother; Frank (Faye) Kozlowski and

1 sister; Joan Marsiglia and a host of loving friends and family.

Preceded in death by her husband; Donald, 2 sons;

Donald and David and 1 sister; Lillian.

Visitation for Juanita will take place on Friday, April 3, 2009

from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at the Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home,

209 Main St., Belleville. 734-697-9400.

Final visitation will be held on Saturday, April 4 from 10 a.m. until time of service

at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at

Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton, MI.
