Mr. Cameron Wallace Lodge, Jr. passed away

Thursday, August 11, 2011 at home.

He was born September 1, 1923 in Ann Arbor, Michigan

a son of Cameron W. and Euthymia “Tiny” (Hildner) Lodge.

On July 29, 1946 he was married to Johnnie M. Strain

in Sands Springs, OK returning to Plymouth in 1946.

Mrs. Lodge preceded him in death on April 28, 2001.

Mr. Lodge was a Past Master of Plymouth Rock Lodge #47,

Valley of Detroit Shriners, Michigan Lodge of Research #1,

Research Lodge #2 A.F. & A.M. Past Patron of

Plymouth Chapter O.E.S. #115 and a member

of Orient Chapter O.E.S. #77.

Mr. Lodge enjoyed antique cars and fire trucks.

In his retirement he enjoyed traveling with his

wife and grandchildren in his motor home.

Mr. Lodge was a man truly devoted to his family.

Prior to his retirement in September 1988 he had been employed

by the Northville Public Schools as the head of

Electrical Maintenance for many years.

He also owned Plymouth Electric Co. for many years.

Mr. Lodge was the loving father of 5 children;

Johnnie M. Lodge, Cameron W. Lodge, III,

Beverly E. (Jeffry) Neal, Douglas R. Lodge

and Malcolm K. (Deborah) Lodge.

Fond grandfather of Jeffry A. Neal, Jr.,

Laura (Adam) Nolen and Heather M. Neal.

Brother of Frank T. Lodge.

Preceded in death by his brother John C. Lodge.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 14, 2011 from 3 – 6 P.M

and Monday, August 15, 2011 from 1 – 8 P.M.

with a Masonic Service at 7:30 P.M. at the

Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home,

209 Main St., Belleville (734-697-9400).

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 16, 2011

at 11 A.M. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the

Michigan Masonic Home,

1200 Wright Ave., Alma, MI 48801 in lieu of flowers.
