Mrs. Linda L. Loggans passed away Friday, July 15, 2011

at Heartland Health Care Center in Ypsilanti, MI.

She was born January 16, 1938 in Kingsport, Tennessee

a daughter of Lucius V. and Nancy Jane ( Penley ) Munsey.

On August 16, 1971 she was married to Samuel Davis Loggans

in Kingsport, TN moving to Belleville, MI in 1972.

Mrs. Loggans was a member of the Kingsport Methodist Church,

the Red Hat Society, Congressman John D. Dingell’s Executive Board,

the U.A.W. Women’s Committee, the Executive Board

of the Detroit Metropolitan Council of Senior Citizens

and the Sumpter Democratic Club.

Mrs. Loggans proudly marched in Washington, D.C.

for Women’s Rights (NOW).

Prior to retirement in 1987 she had been employed by

General Motors, Hydra-matic Plant as an Inspector for many years.

Mrs. Loggans is survived by her loving husband; Samuel D. Loggans;

her 5 children, Robin Bowman, Steven (Shelia) Law,

Tony (Valicia) Law, Kim (Gerry) Bloodworth

and Sammy (Stephanie) Loggans.

She was the fond grandmother of 9 grandchildren

and one great grandson.

Sister of Glen (Lorraine) Munsey.

Mrs. Loggans was preceded in death by her parents and her sister.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2011

from 2 – 6 P.M. at the Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home,

209 Main St., Belleville (734-697-9400).

Funeral services will be Monday, July 18, 2011

at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.

Cremation will follow.
