Mrs. Renee Marie McKinnis passed away

Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor.

She was born March 18, 1968 in Detroit, Michigan

a daughter of John M. and Marlena L. (Stayden) Berger.

On March 23, 1990 she was married to

James W. McKinnis, Jr. at Grace Baptist Church in Belleville.

Mrs. McKinnis was a lifelong resident of the Belleville area.

Mr. McKinnis preceded her in death on August 22, 2011.

Mrs. McKinnis enjoyed gambling and bowling.

She also loved going up north with her husband Jim to go fishing.

This year she started gardening.

Mrs. McKinnis was a floor manager

at the Motor City Casino in Detroit.

Mrs. McKinnis was the loving wife

of the late James W. McKinnis.

Dear mother of Amber McKinnis and Jimmy McKinnis.

Loving daughter of John and Molly Berger.

Sister of Scott (Kimberly) Berger.

Sister-in-law of Pamela (David) McGinnis and Yvonne Eskie.

Aunt of Nick Berger.

Funeral services will be held on

Friday, September 23, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at the

Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home,

209 Main St., Belleville (734-697-9400).

Visitation will be held Friday from 2 – 7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Burial will be on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 10:30 A.M.

at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
