Joan Samuels

January 24, 1938 To May 27 2008

Joan Samuels, of Naples, Florida passed away on May 27, 2008 following a brief illness.  She was born on January 24, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan,

a daughter of Florence Evans and Joseph Birbeck.

On November 16, 1957 she was married to Robert E. Samuels in Belleville, Michigan.    

Joan is survived by her loving daughters; Julie (Fred) O’Hotzke,

Whitney (Gary) O’Hotzke, Stacey (Steve) Dehnbostel and Courtney (Jeff) Osborne.  Cherished sister of Judy (Gary) Piper. Adored grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. 

Mrs. Samuels was preceded in death by her husband, Robert. 

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, May 30,2008 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M., with the memorial service beginning at 1 P.M. at the

Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Belleville MI
