Mr. Oren Louie Tidwell passed away Friday, November 25, 2011

at Arbor Hospice. He was born February 12, 1919

in Oneonta, Alabama a son of Euphratus and Lillie (Perrin) Tidwell.

On September 23, 1939 he was married to Ethel R. Brymer

in Limestone Co., Alabama moving to Belleville

from Southgate in 1980. Mr. Tidwell was a member

of U.A.W. Local 600. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Mr. Tidwell loved movies. He enjoyed gardening, building,

tinkering with electronics, automotive restoration,

flying model airplanes and traveling. Prior to his retirement in 1980,

Mr. Tidwell had been employed by Ford Motor Company

as a Dispatcher for many years. Mr. Tidwell was the beloved

husband of Ethel R. Tidwell. Dear father of James (Zhen) Tidwell,

Jerry (Ruthann) Tidwell and Coy (Jeanina) Tidwell.

Fond grandfather of 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren

and one great great granddaughter.

Mr. Tidwell was preceded in death by 4 brothers.

Funeral services will be held on

Sunday, November 27, 2011 at 4:00 P.M. at the

Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home,

209 Main St., Belleville (734) 697-9400.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 27 from 1 – 4 P.M.

at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Oak Hills Cemetery, Oneonta, Alabama.

The family has suggested memorial contributions to

Arbor Hospice, 2366 Oak Valley Dr., Ann Arbor, MI 48103 in lieu of flowers.
