Mrs. Ethel Tidwell passed away on

Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Oakwood Hospital

following a lengthy illness.

She was born on April 2, 1923 in Pulaski, Tennessee,

a daughter of Flounory and Clair (Curtis) Brymer.

On September 23, 1939 she was married to

Oren Louie Tidwell in Limestone Co., Alabama

moving to Belleville from Southgate in 1980.

Mrs. Tidwell was a member of the Church of Christ.

She enjoyed going to the movies, dining out

and socializing with friends.

Nothing was more important to her than her family.

Dear mother of James (Zhen) Tidwell,

Jerry (Ruthann) Tidwell and Coy (Jeanina) Tidwell.

Fond grandmother of 8 grandchildren,

13 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.

Mrs. Tidwell was preceded in death by

her husband, Oren, her parents and siblings.

Visitation will be held on

Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 1 – 3 P.M.

at the Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home,

209 Main St., Belleville (734) 697-9400.

Burial will take place at

Oak Hills Cemetery, Oneonta, Alabama.
